Don’t directly ask users what they want
When there are 5 designers and 1 engineer in a team, we need extra work to make sure everyone knows who’s in charge of what tasks. and who would be responsible for the suceess (or faliure) of it.
Design Context
For enterprise product, listen closely to the domain experts’ problems and problem-solving process.
Domain Knowledge requires many years to aquire, in my work experience conducting internal user research, I gain the most useful insights from Algorithm scientists and Head CV Engineers by listening to their complaint about work content. In an enterprise design context, it’s both beneficial for learning the domain and learning what’s the friction in their work flows.
